We offer you 2 cosy
and neat apartments with comfortable furnishing. Our house is
situated in the centre of Ramsau, but beside the main road in a calm
and sunny location.

Zillertal
In the winter the ski
areas of Mayrhofen and the Zillertal Arena await skiers and
snowboarders. Both ski areas are only at 5 km distance from our
house and be easily reached with the skibus which departs directly
behind our house. The ski area Mayrhofen for example has more 157 km
very well prepared pistes in all degree of difficulty. For the brave
the Harakiri downhill awaits you on the actionmountain Penken. The
name of this downhill already suggests that this one of the steepest
from all Austria. Under snowboarders the Vans
Penken Park is very popular. The glacier of Hintertux (all year
skiing) is at approx. 18 km distance from our house.
A nostalgic experience offers the alsmost 100-years old
Zillertalbahn a narrow-gauge railroad, which makes an impressive
journey through the Zillertal with a steam locomotive and shows you
the beauty and the sights of the valley.
A panorama, without comparison offers the Gerlos Alpine Road.
Furthermore is the Gerlospass a popular starting point for several
hikes and mountain tours. Many alms and cabins await the tired hiker
with delicious treats from the Tirolean kitschen.
With the Ramsberglift you can reach the Sonnalm summer and winter –
Starting point of the circular route to the Kotahornhütte, the
mountainhotel Gerlosstein and back agian to the starting point. This
route is very suitable for the whole family and can be done easily
in 2 ½ - 3 hours.
Situated the centre of the tourist region Hippach-Schwendau-Ramsau gelegen,
you will finf lots of wothwhile trips, for example to the Käsealm in
Hainzenberg, the Spannagel-Höhle or the ice caves at the Hintertuxer
Glacier and the gold mines
in Zell am Ziller.
